Profile

I am a Doctoral student working on tragulids (ruminants) from Africa, Lower to Middle Miocene of Napak, Uganda. My research is about the revision of African Tragulidae (Artiodactyla, Mammalia) in an old world biogeographic context. I therefore research on their diversity, taxonomy, their adaptations to locomotion and environment, reconstruct palaeodiet and palaeoevironment. For my research, I use methods such as comparative morphology, morphometrics, geochemistry (carbon and oxygen isotopes), and stratigraphy. The aim of my work is to provide a linkage of the African and Eurasian palaeobiodiversity.
