In the atrium of the Palaeontological Museum, dinosaurs cavort alongside pterosaurs, giant birds and the famous Archaeoptryx.

Giant deer, sabre-toothed cat or prehistoric elephant – the mammal fossils of the Palaeontological Museum are in good company.

Redwood trees were already impressive plants many millions of years ago. Several fossil tree trunks are on display in the museum.
