The section includes diverse groups of invertebrates such as Cnidaria (cnidarians), Porifera (sponges), Brachiopoda (arthropods), Bryozoa (bryozoans), and the ichnofossils (traces). Cnidaria, Porifera, and Brachiopoda make up the largest inventory with a total of about 45,000 fossils.
