Fossil Arthropods, Annelids, Echinoderms, Hemichordata, Tunicates

The section with arthropods, echinoderms, Hemichordata and tunicates (Tunicata) comprises about 45,000 objects and inventory units. Among them are important stocks of various crustaceans (decapods) and insects, especially from the Solnhofen plate limestones (Upper Jurassic), the first fossil isopod spiders (Devonian) and the most extensive collection of fossil sea cucumbers (Holothuroidea).
